Hi. I am Shivku. I have spent the past five years working on and thinking about Internet. And I have spent all my life of 26 years living in and thinking about India. I am very interested in entrepreneurship, music, startups and humour.

I have spent a significant amount of my professional lifetime at Yahoo!. And in that time, I worked on Hot jobs, Yahoo India Maps and a number of other products. And then I joined a startup called Flipkart which is doing good. Then I founded Roopit, a meeting point for individuals to buy and sell amongst themselves.

  9. Hey .. I’m a student at BITS, Pilani – Goa Campus. I just attended your video lecture .. and it was awesome !! The elgg idea was amazing..we’ll try and implement it here. And .. roopit .. thats outstanding !! The “for Free” category where we can sell puppies .. and donate stuff like our furniture to an old age home or to an NGO ..that is roopit’s usp . And .. there are MANY MANY people who use the PETA page on facebook to get pets for themselves. So .. i guess linking roopit to that page would bring in a lot of people. And ..once again .. that was a brilliant presentation !
