It is interesting to note that Nokia has launched its Nokia Navigator phone (Nokia 6110) in India. This phone has built in GPS and a full fledged navigation system comparable to any standard PND voice guidance, distance estimations, directions, search the works. It also has a regular 2MP camera, GPRS, EDGE, 3G capabilities apart being able to make calls!

Best of all it come preloaded with maps of all major Indian cities and costs only Rs. 14,500/- in a local phone store.

Going by the way the phone are priced in india one can expect a significant drop in prices in the next 4-6 months and this phone may end up costing about 7-9k which should be comfortable buy for many urban mobile users.
